Partners In Health (PIH) invites you to join Katie Bollbach, PIH United States executive director; Dr. Michelle Morse, PIH Director and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene acting health commissioner and chief medical officer; Denise Smith, National Association of Community Health Workers executive director; and Dr. Devin Worster, PIH United States senior technical advisor, for a special reception and discussion.
Katie, Michelle, Denise, and Devin will detail how PIH and our partners are responding to recent U.S. government policy shifts and funding cuts, including the threats to Medicaid, and the broader fight for global health equity. They will discuss how these challenges impact PIH’s work and the communities we serve, both locally and globally. Katie, Michelle, Denise, and Devin will also share ways you can take action to protect and defend the right to health in the tristate area and beyond.
Global Health Justice Week is a global campaign inspired by the legacy, teachings, and impact of PIH’s co-founder, the late Dr. Paul Farmer. This year, we'll especially focus on the importance of unity and solidarity in the fight for health justice. The fight could not be timelier; we hope you will join us to hear how you can take part in the movement.
Registration for this event has closed. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please contact us at donorengagement@pih.org. Thank you.
