Health care is a human right:
All donations 2X MATCHED
Make a lifesaving donation today
When the unprecedented violence surged in Haiti, our staff bravely kept the doors open, using solar energy and making best use of the supplies—food, medicine, and expertise—to care for patients however they could.
And when a record-breaking cyclone struck Malawi, destroying homes and infrastructure, APZU—as PIH is known locally—was there to help provide food and shelter and set up emergency clinics.
But the need for care will continue to rise even when the security situation stabilizes. We need your help. Every donation made will be MATCHED up to $100,000 until July 15.

Your MATCHED gift will transform care
Right now, during a period of widespread violence in Haiti, our staff are showing a remarkable commitment to health care. Still, we urgently need your support. That’s why, today, your doubled gift is so critical:
- The staff at University Hospital of Mirebalais (HUM)—our internationally accredited, 300-bed teaching facility that offers advanced care across multiple specialties—continue to provide whatever care possible, all while training the next generation of Haitian doctors and nurses.
- Our facilities are equipped with solar panels to allow regular operations to continue with greater stability during power outages or supply shortages.
- Our teams in Haiti have extensive experience caring for patients during emergencies, from devastating earthquakes to prior outbreaks of violence and deadly infectious diseases.
Injustice has a cure
Our important work is dependent on the partnership of people who believe - like we do - that true solidarity means standing with those who need it, when they need it most. Now is that time. Learn more about PIH's work.

Everyone should have access to quality health care, but for millions around the world, that’s not the reality. That’s morally wrong, and it’s why our teams around the world are currently working to change this. Donate now and help us end this injustice. We will match your contribution for twice the impact.
