UCSD Global TIES Haiti Earthquake Relief Campaign

Thanks for visiting the UC, San Diego’s Global TIES fund-raising page for Partners in Health’s earthquake relief efforts. The scope of the disaster defies measurement, and immediate aid is needed to avert even greater loss of life. Partners In Health has been working in Haiti for nearly 25 years. Their local team has sprung into action to save lives, leveraging the skills of more than 120 doctors and nearly 500 nurses and nursing assistants who work at established sites throughout Haiti.

Haiti’s needs are immense and will be longstanding, so please give as much as you can, as often as you can. Just click on the orange bar to the right and be sure to include your ucsd email address (if you have one) on your donation form. Thanks so much for your generosity!

Global TIES is an innovative service-learning program of the Jacobs School of Engineering of UC, San Diego. Faculty-advised, multi-disciplinary teams of undergraduate students solve technical problems for non-profit organizations in San Diego and around the world. When a Person in Peru, or Siberia, or rural Haiti falls ill, PIH uses all of the means at our disposal to make them well…

Whatever it takes. Just as we would do if a member of our own family—or we ourselves—were ill.
