Since I returned from Haiti, I have been focused on trying to raise money specifically to purchase tents and bedding for those made homeless by the earthquake. Recently, President Clinton took 260 tents that I organized down to Port au Prince and another 130 tents that were purchased with donations given through this site just landed in Haiti a few days ago. Those tents will be used to set up a village to house 750-800 children who lost one or more parents in the quake. But there is more work to be done. Please consider making a donation to fund this effort. $100 will buy one tent. The next round of tents purchased will be given to artisans who lost their homes in the earthquake. Also, if you know anyone with access to a private plane who would like to help move these goods, please let me know. Thanks, Jenny Dubin
When a Person in Peru, or Siberia, or rural Haiti falls ill, PIH uses all of the means at our disposal to make them well…
Whatever it takes. Just as we would do if a member of our own family—or we ourselves—were ill.
