FACE AIDS' Haiti Earthquake Relief Campaign: Matching Up to $50,000! |

When a Person in Peru, or Siberia, or rural Haiti falls ill, PIH uses all of the means at our disposal to make them well… Whatever it takes. Just as we would do if a member of our own family—or we ourselves—were ill. FACE AIDS: Standing in Solidarity with Haiti On Tuesday, January 12th, Haiti experienced a major earthquake that has devastated the country, crippling already fragile infrastructure, killing tens of thousands, and leaving millions without access to food, water, shelter, or medical care. Although our work at FACE AIDS is focused on combating HIV/AIDS in Rwanda, as a group of individuals who are passionate and dedicated to global health equity and social justice, we cannot stand by and ignore what is happening in Haiti. We must take action. Our help is urgently needed. We are thrilled to announce that Sterling Stamos, a private investment firm dedicated to philanthropy and public service, has pledged to match one to one all funds raised by FACE AIDS chapters for Partners In Health's Haiti earthquake relief effort up to $50,000.
