When a Person in Peru, or Siberia, or rural Haiti falls ill, PIH uses all of the means at our disposal to make them well… Whatever it takes. Just as we would do if a member of our own family—or we ourselves—were ill. SUPPORT YOUTHGIVE'S HOPE 4 HAITI RELIEF CAMPAIGN Thank you for joining YouthGive, and the YouthGive Club at Tamalpais High School, to bring aid to the people of Haiti. The money we have and will raise on the street reflects small dollars contributions ($1, $5, $10) from young people and concerned people from Mill Valley, the Bay Area and far beyond. Help us reach our goal! In Haitian Kreyol “tout moun se moun” means every person is a person, and every person can take part in bring badly needed relief to the people of Haiti. On Tuesday, January 12th, Haiti experienced a major earthquake that has devastated the country, crippling already fragile infrastructure, killing tens of thousands, and leaving millions without access to food, water, shelter, or medical care. The scope the disaster is truly enormous, and a tremendous influx of immediate aid is needed to avert an even greater loss of life. Partners In Health has been working in Haiti for nearly 25 years. Our local team is already working to ensure PIH’s coordinated relief efforts, leveraging the skills of more than 120 doctors and nearly 500 nurses and nursing assistants who work at established sites throughout Haiti. Please help YouthGive make sure that PIH's skilled team has the resources it needs to address the crisis at hand. Join with other youth and families raising relief funds for Haiti, which is the work of many hands. Kids and adults alike are chipping in with $1, $5, $10 and all size contributions to make a difference in these difficult days. Thank you for your generous donation! |
