Partners in Health

RAS student groups -- including NHS, NJHS, all STUCO, Recycling Club, GIVE and the Drama Department -- have united in one effort to raise 100,000 dirham by next Friday, Febuary 5th. Your donations at this site will be added to cash donations accepted at the front gate each morning, from 8:00-8:30. After thorough research, we have decided to support Partners in Health. Please consider the many merits of this organization:

Partners in Health (PIH) is . . .

• Recognized: Top ratings from Charity Navigator and Charity Watch.

•Efficient: 95% of the PIH budget goes directly towards aid projects.

• Established: PIH has more than 20 years’ experience working in Haiti.

• Already making a difference: 10 days after the quake, PIH had already sent 22 planes carrying 144 medical volunteers and thousands of pounds of medical supplies to Haiti. Ten established PIH hospitals are working night and day to serve emergency medical needs.

• Committed to a better future: In addition to serving Haiti’s current medical needs, PIH is committed to the alleviation of the root causes of disease in impoverished countries.
