When a Person in Peru, or Siberia, or rural Haiti falls ill, PIH uses all of the means at our disposal to make them well… Whatever it takes. Just as we would do if a member of our own family—or we ourselves—were ill. Please Help A-JIS Bring Aid to Haiti Thank you for joining the community at Aoba-Japan International School to bring aid to the people of Haiti The scope the disaster is truly enormous, and a tremendous influx of immediate aid is needed to avert an even greater loss of life. Partners In Health has been working in Haiti for nearly 25 years. Our local team is already working to ensure PIH’s coordinated relief efforts, leveraging the skills of more than 120 doctors and nearly 500 nurses and nursing assistants who work at established sites throughout Haiti. Please help us make sure that this skilled team has the resources it needs to address the crisis at hand. Our campaign will include all A-JIS students, parents, teachers, staff, and school leadership. As parents/guardians, you will have opportunities to get involved and give your money and time, so please keep your eyes open for more information! Your generosity in the past has been amazing! Please do so again now. Working together, we can help relieve some of the suffering in our world as well as provide an opportunity for our students to practice charity and compassion for those in need. Our goal is 1,000,000 yen! There will be a bulletin board in the lobby, and a final update will appear in the A-JIS courier and on the school’s website. Please watch for it!
