The Men of PIH Mustache team
The Men of PIH are kicking it up a notch this year and growing mustaches in solidarity with the PIH's Malawi program, Abwenzi Pa Za Umoyo (APZU). Funds raised will support APZU's Kaposi's Sarcoma treatment program. Kaposi's Sarcoma is a cancer that primarily affects patients suffering from HIV and AIDS. APZU runs the only Kaposi's Sarcoma treatment clinic in the country, providing a vital service to Malawi's HIV population. Boston-based PIH staff and colleagues in Malawi are starting off on November 1st with clean-shaven faces and will be growing a mustache throughout the month.
