Benefit Concert for Haiti: Music for Life (Haiti Fundraising)
A benefit concert for Haiti featuring award-winning Spanish guitarist Pablo Sáinz Villegas will be presented at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego on Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. San Diego Charger Jacques Cesaire, who has family in Haiti, will make an appearance. All proceeds to go to Partners In Health, which has been helping bring healthcare to the poor in Haiti for over 20 years and is uniquely positioned to help Haitians recover from the earthquake.

The concert is free (suggested donation of $50). Please bring check made out to Partners in Health or receipt for online donation to PIH. Donations made through this web site are eligible for a matching contribution from the Firland Foundation of up to $8000. Computers will be available for onsite online donations.

This event is presented by the College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Music Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science, Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies, Social Issues Committee, Students for Fair Trade and Sustainability, Trans-Border Institute, and University Ministry. Special thanks to the Serenity Grace Foundation.
