Tune into this live webcast with Toni Habinshuti, Deputy Country Director of Partners In Health's Rwanda project Inshuti Mu Buzima (PIH/IMB), for a discussion about the impact of health system strengthening work on maternal and child health.

For the past six years, PIH/IMB has been working in direct partnership with the Rwandan Ministry of Health to strengthen and transform the public health system in three rural districts (Kayonza, Kirehe, and Burera) and to serve as models to the rest of the country. Toni will discuss how this work has led directly to better outcomes for mothers and children in these regions.

Antoinette Habinshuti returned to her native country, Rwanda, after several years in the United States to serve as the Deputy Country Director at Inshuti Mu Buzima, Partners In Healths sister organization in Rwanda. In her role, Toni provides managerial accompaniment and oversees the implementation of all PIH Rwanda program activities across clinical and non-clinical programs, HR, operations and finance. She acts as the liaison between both the Rwanda district and national governments, as well as between IMB and PIH Boston offices.
