World AIDS Day (Awareness Raising Event)

On Monday, December 2nd, New Mexico AIDS Services (NMAS) will host a World AIDS Day event at 625 Truman St. NE in Albuquerque. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.  On-site anonymous oral and rapid HIV testing will be administered for free to the public and complementary food and drinks will be provided.   Attendees will also the opportunity to learn about the services NMAS provides.  A vigil will be held with a luminaria lighting ceremony to honor those who have been lost to HIV/AIDS, and a guest speaker and a local choir will perform. 

The theme of World AIDS Day is Getting to Zero. Zero new HIV Infections. Zero Discrimination. Zero AIDS Related Deaths. Please join us on December 2nd.
